One Web Directory Coming Soon

Our latest and last creation within our directory structure is One Web Directory (http://www.onewebdirectory.com). The site is currently secured until ready, though a sneak peak image is attached for those curious.

One Web Directories theme is "deep link". That means the directories focus is on providing anchored keyword phrased links into any page within a website. Now this screams, "hello spammer" all over it... yes! Won't happen. The reason why we have chosen deep link and allowing anchored text, is so that a site / page can be accurately depicted to users and search engines. We will not allow any submission that is purely deceptive of search engine policy. Editorial decision will simply overall the submission and the listing rejected for resubmission or changed by an editor.

The directory will be free once released, however; the directory model is bid rank based. That means any website once listed can then bid for its positions within its relevant category. The listings will be similar to how other APN directories are listed, being sentence form. So people will instantly believe that if they start their sentence and keyword high in the alphabet then they will get prominence, which is where the bid rank comes into play, thus minimizing such nonsense. Again, editorial decision will be final and submitted key phrases can and will be changed if not accurately depicting the website / webpage content.

Because this directory will be free to initially list, it will cost money to obviously increase bid amount and will also incur an editors fee if listing owners desire to change their listing. This reduces temptation to submit constant change of listings until people get what they want, instead of what is given to them via editors.

Extremely heavy penalties will apply to all and any submissions entered with the intent to spam. Email addresses will be banned, URL's will be banned, listings instantly rejected for poor submission and so forth. We simply will not tolerate the abuse that comes with free submission directories.

Email addresses that fail to accept the acceptance / rejection notices whether approved or not will be immediately removed. Email addresses must come only from the domain being listed, otherwise instant rejection.

These very strict and harsh guidelines will ensure those legitimate users submitting and conforming to our strict guidelines will have their submissions reviewed in much faster times. A URL will only get sighted once the initial scan of the submitted data is first accepted, at which point further site assessment will continue for possible inclusion.

Those who begin their sentences with over-the-top keyword stuffing or spam will be rejected immediately. The entire listing must flow from start to finish, no if's, no but's, will be accepted. It takes us seconds to delete, but not for a user to submit in the first place. We will have IP delay's turned on for submitting, being an IP will only be capable of submitting one listing in "x" amount of time. Rejection for resubmit is the ultimate penalty, as users will then incur the rather large queue waiting times to be looked at once again that typically come with free directories.

It's coming, it is a permanent addition to APN, so be ready for a totally free to submit directory back in the marketplace, though with extremely strict submission criteria and instant penalty to those not complying. So here is a sneak peak....
